A caesarean scar can sometimes cause an “overhang” on the stomach even if you are within healthy weight range. The old caesarean scar can be removed together with any underlying fat. We will use dissolvable stitches and carefully cover the incision with tape and surgical dressings.

The dressing can be removed after 1-3 days. The incision should be taped for 6 months for best result.
Normally you can continue with your normal routines after a few days but you should avoid strenuous activity, exercise and heavy lifting for 1 month.

To get nice scars, you should then keep the tape for 6 months. Normally, you can work and live a normal life only days after the operation, but you should refrain from training and heavy lifting, etc. for at least a month after the procedure.
